Munson is a trusted name that reflects excellence. Munson Home Services helps people live independently in their own home. Affordable services range from light housekeeping, personal care, meals, laundry, or simple companionship — whatever is needed to make life a little easier, safer, and enjoyable.
Home Services are customized to fit the client’s needs. Services may be used during short periods of recovery or rehabilitation, or on a long-term basis. Care is provided by competency-tested Personal Care Service aides, Home Environmental Support aides, and Home Health aides.
A registered nurse will determine what services would be most helpful. Services may include:
Bathing and personal care
Meal preparation
Shopping, errands, chores
Respite for caregivers
Live-in care
Light housekeeping
Rides to and from appointments
Nursing, Physical, and Occupational Therapy
Munson Home Services is a CHAP accredited service provider affiliated with Munson Home Care and Munson Hospice. Care is provided to clients from branch offices in Traverse City, Manistee, Reed City, and Gaylord (see map). In 2008, Munson Home Services Private Duty provided 123,000 hours of care.
Accepted payment includes private pay, long-term care policies, private insurance plans, no-fault auto insurance, workmen’s compensation, and some state-sponsored programs.
