Auxiliary

The Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, a wholly volunteer organization dedicated to promoting and supporting health programs in Benzie County, has planned four major fundraising events for 2010. Over the past two years, mainly through these four events and proceeds from the Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital Gift Shop, the auxiliary has donated $157,650 to the hospital's Emergency Room Enhancement Project and a mobile MRI dock. Since its existence, the auxiliary has donated nearly $1 million to Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital. Information on each of the 2010 fundraising events is provided below.

Fifteenth Annual Golf Benefit

Thursday, May 27, shotgun start at 11:30 am
Mountain Ridge Golf Course at Crystal Mountain Resort and Spa in Thompsonville

The event, a four-player scramble, offers many team, individual, and door prizes as well as a cocktail party with cash bar and a BBQ dinner. The entrance fee of $100 per person covers green fees, cart, prizes, and dinner. To register your team of four golfers, have your entrance fee ready and contact co-chairs Nancy and Ron Williams at (231) 882-0474, or Bill and Joey Parris at (231) 352-7093. This popular event is limited to 36 teams so organizers recommend registering early.

Start of the Season Cocktail Party and Buffet Dinner

The Club House at Crystal Downs Country Club

Co-chairs Sharon Trense and Suzanne Kraus encourage you to kick-off the summer with a pleasant evening enjoying cocktails, a buffet dinner, and the beautiful views Crystal Downs is famous for. Invitations to this event are sent out in early May. Tickets are $75 per person.

Tour of Interesting Places

Thursday, August 5, 10 am

This year's tour offers participants a chance to see inside the Courthouse Condominiums in Beulah, the storeowners' homes above Northern Lights and Crystal Crate and Cargo, three beautiful Crystal Lake homes, Stratton Hill Farm, and Hale Special Interest Auto.
