Volunteering for Munson Healthcare
Volunteers have always played a key role in Munson Healthcare’s success — from direct interaction with patients to behind-the-scenes office work.
Are you interested in helping patients and supporting the Healthcare Team? We are looking for new volunteers at Munson Medical Center and Munson Manor in Traverse City, and in Cadillac, Grayling and Charlevoix. Requirements to Volunteer
- Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
- Must complete a TB test (provided by MHC Employee Health Departments).
- Provide confirmation of annual flu immunization.
- Complete compliance education requirements.
- For the safety of our patients, volunteers and healthcare team, Munson Healthcare performs a background check on all applicants (provided via email from Certiphi Screening, Inc.).
In addition, Munson Healthcare is a smoke-free environment. To help promote a healing and safe environment, volunteers and staff may not smell of smoke at any time during the workday. Smoking is not permitted on any Munson Healthcare property or grounds, either owned or leased, including in any vehicle on MHC property.
