The Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club features an open discussion on ideas and suggestions for fellow survivors on their recovery journey at its meeting 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, at the Presbyterian Church in Traverse City.
The church is located at 701 Westminster in Traverse City.
There will be a viewing of a brief video about Spokes Fighting Strokes to prepare for the August 14 demonstration event. Members are also encouraged to bring ideas for future meeting topics, will have the opportunity to follow up on previous discussions from past meetings, and are invited to share in the open discussion and answer questions from each other.
New and former members of the stroke club are invited to attend.
Melinda Hollands, L.M.S.W., with Munson Medical Center’s Patient Care Management Department, will facilitate the club meeting. For more information, please contact Hollands at 231-935-6380.
The Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club is open to the public and meets on the second Wednesday of each month. The group offers stroke survivors and support persons the opportunity to learn, share, and connect through speakers, demonstrations, and discussions.
