McReynolds Hall: Skilled Nursing for Short-term Rehab and Long-term Care
McReynolds Hall is a 34-bed skilled nursing facility attached to Munson Healthcare Otsego Memorial Hospital. The facility provides two levels of care:
- Short-term rehabilitation for people who have been hospitalized and need continued skilled services to regain their strength and abilities before returning home
- Long-term care for those people who can no longer live independently and require 24-hour assistance.
The primary goal of our facility is to restore health and encourage independence. Services are coordinated to meet basic needs for our residents and to obtain the highest level of quality care.

- Beauty and barber shop services
- Telephones in every room
- Free laundry service
- Televisions for every bed in each room, with cable
- Special activities, including holiday celebrations, barbecues, and outside excursions
Our residents enjoy having visitors and we encourage family and friends to stop by as often as they can. We ask visitors to please notify the resident and nursing staff in advance if they anticipate visiting late at night or early in the morning.
Our Team Guides Your Care
The McReynolds Hall team is led by experienced, caring nurses and nurse aides, as well as staff members from different departments throughout the hospital.
Our staff includes:
- Activities director
- Certified nurse aides
- Coordinator to conduct federally-mandated health assessments of residents
- Dietitian
- Infection prevention/education nurse
- Registered nurses and licensed practical nurses on duty 24-hours
- Occupational therapist
- Pharmacy specialist
- Physical therapist
- Recreational therapist
- Social Services specialist
- Speech and language therapist
- Unit secretary
Other services available include end-of-life care through agreements with multiple hospice organizations, and services through the local department of Community Mental Health.
