CDC Study: Bivalent Vaccine Effective for Adults 65+
A CDC study concluded a bivalent COVID-19 booster vaccination provided substantial and durable protection against COVID-19–related death in adults 65+, with no significant evidence of waning ≤6 months postvaccination.
The CDC recommends all persons stay up to date with recommended COVID-19 vaccines, including ≥1 bivalent dose for persons ages ≥6 months. Optional additional bivalent vaccine doses are available for adults 65+ and persons with immunocompromising conditions.
