Emergency Physician Joins Kalkaska Memorial Health Center

Sally Ancel, D.O., is former medical director at Munson Medical Center’s E.R.

Sally Ancel, D.O., has joined Kalkaska Memorial Health Center to lead its Emergency Department. She is the hospital’s first emergency medicine physician.

A public open house reception for Dr. Ancel is planned for 4 - 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 18, at the hospital.

Dr. Ancel is the former medical director of Munson Medical Center’s Emergency Department and has worked at Munson Medical Center since 2009. She also has served as chief of the Emergency Department section at Mercy Cadillac Hospital, now Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital.

A graduate of Michigan State University School of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Ancel completed her emergency medicine residency at Genesys Regional Medial Center in Grand Blanc, Mich. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians, and American College of Emergency Physicians.
