Manistee Ford’s Sixth Annual Benefit Classic Car Show, held at Manistee Ford on June 13, raised nearly $5,000 in support of West Shore Medical Center’s commitment to the early detection of breast cancer.
“This is a wonderful event that the community looks forward to each summer,” said West Shore Medical Center CEO James Barker. “The collection of cars was incredible, and everyone who attended had fun. We greatly appreciate Manistee Ford’s support of West Shore’s efforts in the fight against breast cancer.”
The crowd of families and car enthusiasts enjoyed free festivities, chances for prizes, and the opportunity to get an up-close look at a selection of beautiful cars, from classic to modern. The 55 vehicles display included a variety of makes, styles, and vintages.
Each year, the car show is free to the public. Funds are raised through exhibitor registration fees and raffle ticket sales for prizes donated by local businesses. New this year, Manistee Ford donated $100 for each used car sold in the month of June.
“We are thrilled with the community’s response to the event,” said Rob Pepera, Manistee Ford’s Sales Manager. “We have a great time putting on the car show, and we are happy to support the excellent health care services at West Shore Medical Center.”
