Eligibility and Payment Terms (Please Read)

Eligibility

All full-time and part-time Registered Nurse positions within the Munson Healthcare system will be authorized to provide a bonus upon a successful external referral. Part-time positions will be paid out at a lower rate. Temporary, On-call, PRN, TOC, or contracted positions are not currently eligible to provide referral awards. Positions must be employed directly with Munson Healthcare and do not include staffing agencies or positions that are employed by contracted partners.

Referring Party: In order to qualify for the CRP bonus, the referring party must be an individual person (i.e., not an organization, business entity, etc.), and a legal resident of the United States aged 18 years or older. The referring party cannot be associated with a consultant or staffing agency, nor be employed by MHC in any capacity (MHC employees should be directed to our Employee Referral Program). The referring party cannot refer themselves. It is the responsibility of the referring party to complete the MHC CRP submission form in its entirety, along with any other documentation requested by the MHC Human Resource team. Finally, the referring party may not make any guarantees on behalf of MHC.

Referred Party: Candidates who are referred through the CRP must be external candidates – no person currently employed by MHC shall be considered eligible for referral. Referred candidates must be an experienced Registered Nurse with 2+ years of RN experience and must not have been employed by Munson Healthcare in the past 12 months. In order to be considered eligible, referred candidates must accept a full or part time position – temporary personnel, interns and contractors are not eligible. A referral for a candidate is valid for 6 months and applies to all applications submitted by the candidate.

Payment Terms

The referral award for Full Time positions is set at $1,000 USD. This amount is liable to change at any time based on organizational needs and may be adjusted for specific job families at the discretion of the MHC Human Resource team. Payment shall be made to the referring party in the amount that is set at the time that the referred candidate begins their employment with MHC (i.e., if the referral amount for a certain job family changes from $1,000 to $500 after the referred candidate has already started, the referring party shall be paid the $1,000 that was initially agreed upon). In the event of duplicate or competing submissions, payment will be made for the first referral received by MHC.

Status  NET payout
Full time FTE  $1000.00
Part time FTE $500.00

For the referring party to qualify for the payment, the referred candidate must: • Acknowledge that the referring party did indeed refer them. • Complete 90 days of continuous, active employment with MHC. • Remain in good disciplinary standing at the end of the 90-day period.

The referring party must complete and return IRS Form W-9 (and any other required documentation) in order to receive the referral award. MHC Human Resources will provide this form to the referring party once the referred candidate has started employment with MHC. MHC will disburse the payment to the referring party within 30 days of the referred candidate meeting the aforementioned terms and the completion of required documentation. Payment will be made in the form of a company check.
