Emergency Department

Our Emergency Department care team is dedicated to providing service excellence 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Otsego Memorial Hospital is a State of Michigan designated Level IV Trauma Center. As the Medical Control Authority for Otsego County, our team works closely with local Emergency Medical Services to ensure optimal care.

Our Emergency Department is currently going through a significant expansion and renovation project. Upon completion, the number of beds will increase from 12 to 19, including a decontamination room and two trauma rooms. The Race Track design will optimize patient & family access as well as staff workflow.

Cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation are vitally important to help you recover following a heart procedure, cardiac event, or lung disease. Our team will help you return to the highest level of activity and independence possible.

Occupational Therapy

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 5 pm

Our occupational therapists focus on returning patients to the maximum level of independence through graded activities of daily living. We are a certified provider of the Graston Technique.  

Physical Therapy

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 5:30 pm

Our physical therapists are extensively trained in aquatic, neurological, manual and orthopedic rehabilitation.

Speech Therapy

Our speech-language pathologists help children and adults by evaluating and treating speech and language disorders, cognitive disorders, and swallowing issues. 

Wound Therapy

Our certified wound care registered nurse uses the most up-to-date techniques to help you or your loved one’s wound heal as quickly and painlessly as possible.

This service has made huge advancements over the past several years and staying up to date is our priority to ensure you receive the best care. We use the most innovative and up to date treatment products available and assist you in understanding the healing process. Our caring and professional staff is here to help you through this difficult time and return you back to optimal health. Additionally, we offer flexible hours of operation to accommodate you.

X-ray and Imaging

Effective treatment begins with an accurate diagnosis. We have the latest technology and experienced, knowledgeable staff to conduct the tests you need to begin your return to good health.

X-ray services are available at the hospital 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for outpatients and Emergency Department patients. Walk-ins are welcome. Access through Emergency Department if arriving after normal outpatient registration hours.

Imaging services available at the hospital by appointment include:

  • Ankle brachial index
  • Bone density
  • Computerized tomography (CT) scans
  • Digital mammography
  • Fluoroscopy
  • MRI (large bore)
  • Nuclear medicine
  • Ultrasound
