Behavioral Health Recovery Support

As with any illness, there’s more to getting better than just treating or managing symptoms. Recovery is a process. While it takes time and effort, it’s important to know that people and families can and do heal from behavioral illness and/or substance abuse disorders — and treatment works.

At Munson Healthcare, our therapists take a holistic view of each person and consider how social, emotional, spiritual, environmental, intellectual, and physical factors influence overall well-being. Treatment is based on a recovery model, emphasizing resilience and control over problems and life.

To support your personal recovery, Munson Healthcare offers extensive outpatient behavioral health programs that can be tailored to meet your individual needs.

Psychiatric Services

Our outpatient psychiatric services are designed for adults with moderate symptoms who can still function independently. We provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment, which may include medication adjustment and monitoring. The goal is to stabilize symptoms, prevent hospitalization, and enhance recovery.

Individual, Group & Family Therapy

Munson Healthcare offers many different types of therapy to treat behavioral health disorders. Guided by experienced, licensed behavioral health professionals, our specially designed programs include individual, group, and family therapy to help individuals find motivation, improve self-awareness, and build healthy coping skills.

Billing & Payment

We can explain the costs of treatment, your benefits coverage and limitations, as well as any state funding or financial assistance that may be available. We’re happy to answer any questions you may have about billing and payment options.

Payment program fees and financial arrangements are discussed during the initial appointment process. Our behavioral health services are approved by most private insurers. We also accept Medicaid, Medicare, and private payments.
