Gaylord, Mich. — The 2018 Gaylord’s Dancing With the Stars event and fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, March 10th at 6:00 p.m. at the Otsego Grand Event Center. Proceeds from the event will go toward enhancing patient care through programs and services at Otsego Memorial Hospital (OMH). Last year’s event grossed over $20,000 for the OMH renovation and expansion project.
Originally inspired by the popular show, the event is comprised of local celebrity dancers, coached and choreographed by Michelle Neville and her team at Just Dance in Gaylord. The 2018 Dancers are Taylar Akin & Will Tomaski, Kelly Smith & Jim Shurlow, Diane Bartow & Jason Mathias, Jennifer Bennethum & Jeff Gorno, and Amy Handley & Tom Tomaski. The event promises a good show and excellent food, with all proceeds benefiting your local hospital.
Tickets for the event go on sale Wednesday, January 10th for $125.00. The cost includes admission to the event, a seated dinner, and drinks.
Pre-show voting is now open, with $1.00 equaling 1 vote. The evening’s winners will be crowned based on number of votes received before and during the event. To vote for your favorite couple, visit myomh.org/dwts/.
