Gaylord, Mich. — The 2018 Rivals Rally Girls’ Basketball Game, the annual match-up between the Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals and the Gaylord St. Mary Snowbirds, is scheduled for Tuesday, February 20th at Johannesburg-Lewiston High School. Proceeds from this year’s game will go toward the OMH Oncology & Infusion Center, providing funding for patient assistance and equipment needs.
Each year, the two teams play in honor of or in memory of their loved ones affected by cancer. The Junior Varsity game will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by a short tribute ceremony to recognize the players’ loved ones, and the Varsity game will begin at approximately 7:30 p.m.
Tickets for the event are $5.00 at the door, and Rivals Rally t-shirts will be on sale for $12.00 at the game. All proceeds from t-shirt sales will go toward the OMH Oncology & Infusion Center, as well.
