During October, the fitness center is offering special membership rates and also a community open house from Oct. 16 - 21.
“We are inviting community members to try the facility free during open house week,” said Stephanie Williams, Betsie Hosick Health and Fitness Center manager. “It’s an opportunity to get to know your local fitness facility, staff, and members.”
During the week, staff and instructors will be available for questions, tours, and weight machine demonstrations. There also will be a free membership raffle and drawings for door prizes. Special rates for new members include:
• The opportunity to buy a 12-month membership and get the first two months free.
• Buy a six-month membership and get an additional two months free.
Fall classes are available and free to all members. Classes include:
• High Intensity Interval Training (HIITS) on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5 p.m. (30 min)
• Mind & Body Bootcamp on Mondays at 5:30 p.m. • Zumba on Mondays at 7 p.m.
• Bootcamp on Mondays at 7 a.m. and Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m.
• Pilates on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m.
• Strength & Breath on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m.
• Power Yoga on Wednesdays at 6 p.m.
• Gentle Yoga on Thursdays at 6 p.m.
• Family Yoga on Fridays at 6 p.m.
“The center really offers something for everyone,” Williams said. “In addition to classes and group fitness, we have high quality equipment, knowledgeable staff, and courts for racquetball and basketball, a gym, and a studio. All of this is available for less than $1 a day in an environment that is supportive and encouraging.”
