Emergency Department Expansion
- Increase number of Emergency Department treatment bays from 12 to 19, including 3 trauma rooms
- Create a welcoming, safer, and more appropriate registration area for the Emergency Department
- Enhance the current patient and work flow to optimize safety for staff and patients
- Expand waiting area and triage space
- Lobby – 1,300 sq/ft heavy renovation
- Emergency Department – 3,200 sq/ft new space & 4,900 sq/ft heavy renovation
Surgical Services Expansion & Reorganization
- Explore opportunities for robotics equipment with expanded procedure rooms
- 22 private ambulatory care rooms
- Reorganization of space for optimal flow as it relates to central sterilization, surgical support services, and anesthesia.
- A separate surgical patient and family waiting area
- Surgery – 3,200 sq/ft new space & 5,800 sq/ft heavy renovation
- Central Services – 3,650 sq/ft heavy renovation
- Ambulatory Care – 3,500 sq/ft new space & 3,100 sq/ft heavy renovation
