Emotional support can become important for those with cardiovascular disease.
Munson Medical Center’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Department offers a monthly support group from 2 - 3 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of each month at Munson Community Health Center’s Classroom A & B. Current and former cardiac rehabilitation patients, their caregivers, and family members are invited to attend. The next session is Jan. 26.
Facilitator Jim Batsakis, LMSW, leads discussions that allow for learning, sharing, and connecting with others experiencing the effects of cardiovascular disease.
Should weather happen to close Traverse City Schools, the group will not meet that day.
