Congratulations to Brandon Wojcik, MD, who recently co-authored the following clinical article in the Journal of the American College of Surgeons: Long-Term Patient-Reported Symptom Improvement and Quality of Life after Transthoracic Diaphragm Plication in Adults.
Highlights:
- Patient survey on postoperative symptom improvement and quality of life following open or robotic-assisted transthoracic diaphragm plication.
- Patients report significantly improved dyspneic and fatigue symptoms after transthoracic diaphragm plication, regardless of open or robotic-assisted approach.
- Most patients report improved quality of life and exercise capacity.
