Munson Healthcare South Region President Peter Marinoff announced the interim leader for Manistee and Frankfort hospitals will now step into a permanent role.
“I am happy to announce that Kelly Tomaszewski has been named community president at Manistee Hospital and Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital,” Marinoff said. “Kelly has done a tremendous job of leading our teams and helping connect deeper with our communities.”
Tomaszewski stepped into the interim role in July 2022 following the retirement of James Barker. She had also served as chief operating officer and chief nursing officer at Manistee Hospital before Barker’s retirement.
Beginning her career at Munson Healthcare in 2014 as a Manistee Hospital house supervisor, Tomaszewski later served as manager of obstetrics and cancer, blood and infusion services, and then director of specialty services before taking on the CNO role in 2018. She has also served as interim CNO at Cadillac Hospital, and CNO at Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital until 2021 when she was named COO/CNO at Manistee Hospital.
“I am honored and excited to continue to serve both Manistee Hospital and Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital,” she said. “I know the great service both hospitals provide to their communities. I am looking forward to the work we will continue to do in providing exceptional healthcare in each community.”
Tomaszewski lives in Onekama with her husband, Randy, and enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, and spending time with family and friends in northern Michigan.
