David P. Rosenbaum-HaLevi, M.D., has joined the medical staff of Munson Medical Center as a member of the Munson Healthcare Stroke Center. His presence will expand the capabilities of our interventional stroke team which provides critical care to stroke patients throughout northern Michigan. He is board-certified in neurology with subspecialty training in vascular neurology and interventional neuroradiology. He has special interests in acute stroke intervention, complex cerebrovascular malformations, and minimally invasive spine treatment.
Dr. Rosenbaum-HaLevi practices at Munson Neurosurgery, 1221 Sixth St., Suite 300, in Traverse City. He is accepting new patients, and appointments can be made by calling 231-392-0640.
When asked what he likes most about his work, Dr. Rosenbaum-HaLevi said, “Recent advances in technology allow us to treat and often cure medical conditions that could be otherwise devastating. Dr. Rosenbaum-HaLevi graduated from medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, N.Y. He completed a residency in neurology and a fellowship in vascular neurology at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston, Texas. He also completed a fellowship in interventional neuroradiology at Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine, Carmel, Ill.
