Dr. Fiander graduated from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, North Chicago, Ill. She performed an ophthalmology residency at Kresge Eye Institute/Detroit Medical Center, Detroit, Mich. and a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at Retina Institute of California, Pasadena, Calif.
