Edward J. Bergeron, M.D., Joins Munson Medical Center

Edward J. Bergeron, M.D., has joined the staff of Munson Medical Center as a specialist in cardiothoracic surgery.

Dr. Bergeron practices at Cardiothoracic Surgeons of Grand Traverse, 1221 Sixth St., Suite 202, Traverse City. He is accepting new patients, and appointments can be made by calling 231-935-5730.

Dr. Bergeron graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, Mich. He completed residencies in general surgery at Beaumont Health System, Royal Oak, Mich., and thoracic surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Aurora, Colo. He was also a thoracic surgery research fellow at the University of Michigan Medical School, Ann Arbor, Mich. Dr. Bergeron is board certified in general surgery and board eligible in thoracic surgery.
