Munson Healthcare is pleased to welcome Emily A. Dryer, D.O., as a board-eligible specialist in nephrology.
Dr. Dryer graduated from medical school at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Mich. She completed her residency at Spectrum Health Lakeland in St. Joseph, Mich., and a nephrology fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
As a nephrologist, Dr. Dryer sees patients for kidney and hypertension conditions. She enjoys the complexities of nephrology and that it allows her to see patients in multiple environments, including hospitals, clinics, and dialysis centers - permitting her to follow her patients through the entire continuum of their kidney care. She has a special interest in glomerulonephritis and polycystic kidney disease.
“I want my patients to know that my number one priority is effective communication. I believe it serves as the strong foundation in the provision of excellent medical care,” she said.
Dr. Dryer is married and has three children and a dog. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors as much as possible with hobbies such as hiking, cycling, skiing, and picnicking.
Dr. Dryer practices at Munson Healthcare Kidney & Hypertension Specialists, 3537 W. Front Street, in Traverse City. She is accepting new patients, and appointments can be made by calling 231-935-0338.
