RSV Vaccine for Babies, Toddlers: The FDA approved the 1st respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine for babies and toddlers. Beyfortus (nirsevimab-alip) is approved for the prevention of RSV lower respiratory tract disease in children <24 months of age who remain vulnerable to severe RSV disease through their 2nd RSV season.
