Fortune/PINC AI recently named Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital to its 100 Top Hospitals list for 2023 in the small community hospital category.
It is the fourth time the hospital has been recognized as a 100 Top Hospital in the nation. Researchers used publicly available data to evaluate 2,644 short-term, acute care, non-federal U.S. hospitals to achieve the list.

Data for the rankings came from Medicare cost reports, Medicare Provider Analysis and Review (MEDPAR) data, and core measures and patient satisfaction data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Hospital Compare website. Hospitals do not apply for awards, and winners do not pay to market this honor.
Hospitals were evaluated based on bed size and teaching status in five separate classes, including major teaching, teaching, large community, medium community, and small community.
The 45-bed hospital also has been recognized by CMS as a top Five-Star Hospital and by Chartis Center for Rural Health as a Top 20 Rural and Community Hospital.
