Munson Healthcare and the Munson Healthcare Trauma and Acute Surgery team recently were recognized by Grand Valley State University at its annual Health Forum of Northern Michigan.
Munson Healthcare was honored with the university’s Outstanding Rural Health Organization Award for clinical education collaboration with both Grand Valley State University’s Traverse City center and Northwestern Michigan College.
The Munson Healthcare Trauma and Acute Surgery Team were recognized with the Rural Health Practitioner of the Year award by Grand Valley State University’s Physician Assistant Studies Program which commended the team for providing students with learning experiences in general surgery, trauma, and critical care as well as opportunities on both day and night shifts.
