Construction on Munson Medical Center’s new parking structure is complete and will open to
“We are excited to open this new structure which provides 472 spaces for our patient and visitor parking,” said Vice President for Facilities Steve Tongue. “We completed the project one month ahead of schedule. We appreciate everyone’s patience during the construction process.”
The three-story structure is near the front entrance of the hospital, providing convenient access to hospital services. Patients and Visitors should enter the deck from 6th Street.
With the opening of the structure, valet parking will no longer be available at the hospital’s front entrance or at the Cowell Family Cancer Center. Cancer Center patients and visitors can park in Lot B adjacent to the Cowell Family Cancer Center or in the structure.
The new parking deck is the first step toward a larger project that will upgrade facilities for women and children, expand operating room capacity, and allow for more private rooms.
