Munson Healthcare is pleased to welcome Jacob MacLean, DO, to Munson Healthcare Cadillac Primary Care.
As an osteopath, Dr. MacLean practices holistic medicine, which includes exploring how health can be restored naturally before turning to medication, when possible. He attended medical school at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed residency at Sisters of Charity Hospital.
As a part of his practice, Dr. MacLean offers joint injections, smaller dermatology procedures, and Osteopathic Manipulation Therapy (OMT) to his patients in-office. He is also passionate about obesity management and weight loss.
“It is my great joy as a doctor to get to know people, their families, and their stories, and give them hope in their health journey,” he says.
Outside of work, Dr. MacLean is passionate about his faith and values time with his family, which includes his wife Sammy, daughter Cayman Grace, and golden retrievers Dempsy and Owen Wilson. They enjoy spending time outside exploring, camping, playing games, and enjoying the water. Dr. MacLean is an avid sports fan, cheering on the Buffalo Bills, as well as Michigan State University and Detroit sports teams. He also plays the acoustic guitar and ukelele and is learning the piano, banjo, and harmonica.
