Kathryn S. Shaffer, M.D., has joined the staff of Munson Medical Center as a board-certified family medicine physician who specializes in OB/GYN and pediatrics.

Dr. Shaffer practices at Munson Family Practice Center, 1400 Medical Campus Dr. in Traverse City. She is accepting new patients, and appointments can be made by calling 231-935-8000.

Dr. Shaffer graduated from Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Wis., and performed her residency training at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Mich.
