Kristen C. Sihler, M.D., has joined the staff of Munson Medical Center as a board certified specialist in general surgery and surgical critical care. Dr. Sihler practices inpatient surgery at Munson Medical Center, 1105 Sixth St., Traverse City.
Dr. Sihler is also Munson Healthcare’s new Medical Director for Trauma and Acute Care Surgery. Munson Medical Center has the only Level II Trauma Center in northern Lower Michigan.
Dr. Sihler graduated from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Winston-Salem, N.C. She completed a general surgery residency at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa, and a trauma and critical care fellowship at the University of Washington – Harborview Medical Center, Seattle, Wash.
