Manistee Oncology and Infusion Services Become Department of Cadillac Hospital

Manistee Oncology and Infusion Services Become Department of Cadillac Hospital
04.20.2022

Effective May 2, 2022, the oncology and infusion services provided at Manistee Hospital will become a department of Cadillac Hospital. This change is in name only, with the physical location of services remaining the same.

“The change furthers the development of an integrated cancer and infusion network within Munson Healthcare, which fosters standardized coordinated care,” said Kathy LaRaia, Executive Director of Oncology Services for Munson Healthcare.

There will be no disruption to patient care as a result of this change. However, patients can expect the following:

  • Medical forms, such as consents for treatment or billing, will reflect the new name: Manistee Cancer and Infusion Services, a service of Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital
  • Bills for services will come from Cadillac Hospital
  • New signage at the entrance of the department and wayfinding signage from the lobby to the second floor will reflect the new name
  • Updates to the website location page for Manistee Cancer and Infusion Services will now reference Cadillac Hospital as well

This new arrangement offers other benefits too. The location (again, remaining in Manistee) will have expanded access to the Aria infusion and oncology electronic medical record system — currently used across MHC’s cancer and infusion network. This enables standardized and enhanced coordination of care between our infusion sites, oncologists, and care providers
