Munson Healthcare Charlevoix Hospital was recently named as a best hospital for obstetrics by The Women’s Choice Award for Best Hospitals™.
With healthcare awards spanning multiple service lines, the Women’s Choice Award for Best Hospitals™ is a credential that identifies the nation’s best hospitals based on robust criteria that includes relevant clinical performance, patient satisfaction and appropriate accreditations.

Award determinations are completed by using publicly available information from The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), as well as accreditation information from appropriate sources. Thousands of women were surveyed to determine which measures are most important to them which is factored into the weighting on those items.
Munson Medical Center in Traverse City was also named a best hospital for obstetrics.
