Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital has received an “A” grade from The Leapfrog Group for Fall 2024. The hospital received the same top mark in the spring. The twice-yearly report card from the hospital quality organization was released November 15, 2024.

Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital President and CEO Kirsten Korth-White said the “A” grade is a great example of how the healthcare team is committed to providing the highest level of safe, quality care to their patients.

“I am so grateful for and proud of the amazing team of medical and support staff who provide such exceptional care to our community every day,” she said. “This grade is a reflection of their dedication to meeting the highest standard of care and safety for our patients.”

The hospital is among 32 percent of hospitals nationwide to achieve an “A” this period.

The Leapfrog Group is an independent national watchdog group that examines hospital quality and safety, assigning an A, B, C, D, and F grade based on how safe the facility is for patients. The Leapfrog Group Hospital Safety Grade was developed under the guidance of a national panel and is based on measures of safety, quality, and efficiency.
