Munson Healthcare has organized two truckloads of donations to assist in providing patient care to those directly impacted by the Ukraine conflict. Our donations included procedure masks, nitrile and surgeons’ gloves, isolation gowns, hand sanitizer, anesthesia supplies, blankets, towels, pediatric gowns and pajamas, and scrubs.
Both shipments will travel by truck to Georgia, reloaded and sent by air or sea to Poland, and then on to the Ukraine.
“We are so proud of these teams’ efforts and incredibly thankful to be able to send these supplies where they’ll be needed most,” said Tracy Cleveland, Vice President Supply Chain, Munson Healthcare.
While Federal guidelines do not allow Munson Healthcare Foundations to conduct monetary fundraising for outside entities, there are still several opportunities to support humanitarian efforts for those affected by the crisis in the Ukraine.
