New Pelvic/Testicular US Orderables Available 07.01.23

New exam orders have been created to add Duplex Doppler imaging to pelvic and testicular ultrasound (US) exams. This technique utilizes Doppler color flow and spectral analysis in addition to grey scale imaging. This can be helpful in many instances, with the primary indication of acute non-traumatic testicular pain in males or acute pelvic pain in a reproductive age female, assessing for testicular or ovarian torsion.

Please utilize the new exam order including Doppler imaging when appropriate. New exam names will be available on Saturday, July 1:

• US PELVIS W/ DOPPLE
• US TRANSVAGINAL NON OB W/ DOPPLER
• US TESTICULAR/SCROTUM W/DOPPLER
