The Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club features information on Meals on Wheels program at its meeting 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, at the Presbyterian Church in Traverse City. The church is located at 701 Westminster Rd.
Lisa Robitshek, Manager of Meals on Wheels at Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency will share information about the local Meals on Wheels program that delivers nutritious meals to homebound seniors who may struggle to prepare food and sometimes face isolation. Robitshek will answer questions from attendees and sign-up details about the program will be available.
The partnership between the Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency is devoted to providing compassion, companionship, and providing seniors peace of mind that ensures them that they are cared for.
New and former members of the stroke club are invited to attend.

The Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club is open to the public and meets on the second Wednesday of each month. The group offers stroke survivors and support persons the opportunity to learn, share, and connect through speakers, demonstrations, and discussions.
