Integration Testing Round 2 (IT2) is now underway, and the outcome of this testing will help determine our readiness for the One Patient Record (OPR) Wave 2 go-live. As a result, it is necessary to pause certain IT application change requests. This will ensure the system environment is stable and able to isolate issues from other applications during the testing period.
When: Effective immediately
Work that has been paused includes:
- Code or build enhancements for One Patient Record (Oracle Health)
- All other IT build or code changes not linked to OPR.
Exceptions* will only be granted for critical issues including, but not limited to:
- Patient safety/care
- Regulatory compliance
- Financial impact
- Issue responses (break/fix)
- Remaining (already planned) OPR system build requests
- Changes related to the STAR implementation
*For exceptions, please follow the existing OPR governance and change control process.
Review Process for Change Requests: All changes outside of the exceptions listed above must be sent to the Cerner Domain Management team and/or program governance for review. Please send questions and requests to Chris Kitchen, Enterprise Architect, Information Systems. The team will review them weekly.
