When is a purse not just a purse? A purse holds money, currency and funds – all key words that represent power, influence and change. The “Power of the Purse” represents our ability to take action and make a positive difference in the health care provided in our community!
Volunteer Services at Cadillac Hospital will once again host the 4th Annual Power of the Purse. This event will be held August 18, from 5:30 – 9:00 PM, at Cherry Grove Event Center, 5676 East M-55. The event will offer:

Lots of purses and related accessories, including brand name, designer and hand-crafted items

Prizes, raffles, live & silent auctions

Fashion show featuring styles from local retailers

Cocktails and tasty hors’doeurvres
Funds raised by Power of the Purse will be the Breast Cancer Fund and Family Birth Center Fund at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital.
What can you do to help? Two things:
- Donate new or gently used purses – you can do this individually or collectively through your book club, wine club, etc. Nice purse stuffers are also encouraged too (such as jewelry, scarves, bath products, bottles of wine, etc.)
