Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases, MDHSS released April 5 that anyone who has been exposed must remain in quarantine for 14 days without exception.
REMINDERS: COVID-19 Quarantine Guidance
-
Quarantine guidance should be based on the results of viral testing (i.e., PCR or antigen), NOT on the result of an antibody test.
-
Quarantine for 14 days after a COVID-19 exposure.
-
A health care worker may still work even after an exposure. But other than coming to work, should quarantine at home.
-
People who have been fully vaccinated may not need to quarantine after exposure to COVID-19, depending on the circumstances of the person vaccinated and the exposure.
