Blankets help leukemia, lymphoma patients receiving infusion treatment
Officials from Serra Subaru in Traverse City recently visited Munson Medical Center’s Cowell Family Cancer Center with gifts to warm patients undergoing infusion treatments.
The national “Subaru Loves to Care” campaign became real locally through Serra Subaru’s donation of 50 blankets for patients receiving treatment at the cancer center.
“We are very grateful to Serra Subaru for gifting our patients with these special comforters,” said Kathleen LaRaia, executive director of Oncology Services for Munson Healthcare. “These are thoughtful gifts that meet very real needs.”
On hand to make the donation were Serra Subaru Executive Manager Jim Tuohy, Executive Manager Jerry Zezulka, and General Manager Mike McFarlan.
