‘Smart 911’ is Discussion at February Stroke Club

Detailed information during an emergency situation means first responders can be more effective with their help.
 

Grand Traverse County 911 Deputy Director Leah Hornacek will talk about “Smart 911, Sign Up for this great service Now” at the monthly meeting of the Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14, at The Presbyterian Church, 701 Westminster Road in Traverse City.

Smart 911 allows residents to provide key information about a household such as names, special needs, physical descriptions, photos, property details, and pet information.

The Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club is open to the public and meets the second Wednesday of each month. The stroke club offers stroke survivors and support persons the opportunity to learn, share, and connect with one another through speakers, demonstrations, and group discussions.
