The Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club will learn more about “Munson Medical Center’s Brain Injury and Neurologic Rehabilitation Program: Memory Tips for Everyday Living” at its 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. meeting on Wednesday, June 14.

The hospital’s senior specialist for Brain Injury and Neurologic Rehabilitation Erica Neller, SLP, will discuss ways to help those who have had a stroke overcome memory challenges as part of their recovery process.

For more information on the meeting, contact facilitator Melinda Hollands, LMSW, at Munson Medical Center’s Patient Care Management Department, by calling 231-935-6380, or visit munsonhealthcare.org/strokeclub.

The Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club is open to the public and meets the second Wednesday of each month, usually at The Presbyterian Church at 701 Westminster Road in Traverse City.

The stroke club offers stroke survivors and support persons the opportunity to learn, share, and connect with one another through speakers, demonstrations, and group discussions.
