Stroke Club Features: Ask a Neurologist

Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club Meets Wednesday, May 13

Munson Medical Center neurologist Kersti Bruining, MD, will address the Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13.

The meeting is at The Presbyterian Church, 701 Westminster Road, in Traverse City.

Dr. Bruining is the medical director of Munson Medical Center’s stroke unit and chief of neurology at the hospital. She will address issues related to stroke and stroke recovery, and answer any questions from stroke club participants and caregivers.

Dr. Bruining graduated from Rush Medical College and performed her residency and a fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She is board certified.

The Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club is open to the public and meets the second Wednesday of each month. The stroke club offers stroke survivors and support persons the opportunity to learn, share, and connect with one another through speakers, demonstrations, and group discussions.
