09.06.2023

The Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club will hear a presentation from PACE North on its services at the next meeting 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13 at The Presbyterian Church.

The church is located at 701 Westminster Road in Traverse City. New and former members of the stroke club are invited to attend.

PACE means “Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly.” PACE North Community Outreach Director Lori Wells will share about the model of care offered by the agency that allows individuals to continue to live in their community and home while receiving social, medical, dietary, and support services.

Melinda Hollands, L.M.S.W., with Munson Medical Center’s Patient Care Management Department, will facilitate the club meeting. For more information, please contact Hollands at 231-935-6380

The Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club is open to the public and meets on the second Wednesday of each month. The group offers stroke survivors and support persons the opportunity to learn, share, and connect through speakers, demonstrations, and discussions.
