Deadline: All MHC-credentialed providers — regardless of employment status — must provide proof of flu vaccination by Tues., Oct. 31 to comply with MHC's Seasonal Influenza (Flu) Vaccine policy. Failure to comply with this policy may result in termination of medical staff privileges and/or employment.
Where: Flu vaccination clinics will be held throughout the system in October. Flu vaccinations can also be done through a primary care office or local pharmacy with documentation provided to your local hospital’s Employee Health office by Oct. 31.
Exemptions: All exemptions granted for last year’s 2022-2023 flu season will be reviewed for the 2023-2024 flu season. Anyone who was granted an exemption last year and has not had a change in status does not need to submit a request for an exemption this year. All new flu vaccination exemption requests must be submitted by Sunday, Oct. 15. Complete the Inluenza (Flu) Vaccination Exemption Request (Form #10326) and submit to HR-TC@mhc.net or deliver in person to your local HR office. Forms received after Oct. 15 will not be considered.

COVID-19 Vaccine: MHC will NOT be offering updated COVID vaccines during our flu clinics or through Employee Health. These can be obtained through your primary care provider or local pharmacy. Although strongly recommended, updated COVID-19 vaccines are not required for current employees or credentialed providers.
