Over the past few months, OMH Medical Group – Lewiston has been under construction to expand the facility and better meet the needs of the growing communities around the clinic. OMH is committed to growing and improving with the Lewiston community as more residents flock to the area and seasonal citizens return.
Currently, the new building is close to completion with most of the interior walls in place and the electrical and plumbing installations happening in the coming weeks. Windows in the newly renovated sections of the clinic have been installed and the roof has been shingled. Lewiston residents visiting the current clinic can see the construction progress steadily over the next few months.
Upon completion of the project, OMH Medical Group – Lewiston will double its square footage, increasing from 10 to 15 exam rooms. The newly renovated space will include two additional procedure rooms and expanded space for Rehabilitation Services and Occupational Therapy. Specialty services, such as ultrasound, will be available at the clinic periodically because of the expanded space. The new clinic will have a larger waiting area and patient parking lot, which will be conveniently located closer to the main entrance of the building.
