The West Shore Medical Center Auxiliary will host a Miche Bag sale October 16 and 17 in the Education Center at the hospital, located at 1465 E. Parkdale Ave. in Manistee. The sale will run from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday, October 16 and from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 17.
Funds raised will benefit the Auxiliary’s pledge to purchase lifesaving devices for West Shore Medical Center’s ambulance fleet.
Miche is a unique line of designer handbags that makes it easy to transform the look of your purse. “With the Miche Bag, there is no need to transfer your items from one bag to another,” said event chair Elizabeth Tyson. “You can change your handbag in seconds simply by swapping the outer shell, which makes it very easy to coordinate your bag with your outfit.” The bags come in a variety of sizes to meet all needs, and the shells are available in a wide range of styles to suit any occasion.
In addition to base bags and shells, a selection of wallets, organizers, charms and accessories will also be for sale. “Miche products make great gifts,” suggested Tyson. “There’s something for everyone, and the proceeds benefit a wonderful cause.” The volunteer organization receives a percentage of each purchase.
With a team of over 100 members, the West Shore Medical Center Auxiliary provides support throughout the hospital, operates the Bits of Cheer Gift Shop in the hospital lobby, and is active in fundraising efforts on behalf of the medical center.
