Cherry Vanilla Frappe Recipe (gluten-free, gout-friendly)

In the heat of the summer, a cool treat loaded with nutrition hits the spot! This gluten-free and gout-friendly frappe includes delicious cherries that contain a variety of healthy benefits. 


Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen, pitted sweet cherries
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt 

Directions

Freezing fruit before blending lets you skip ice cubes. If using fresh, pitted cherries, add 1/2 cup to 1 cup of ice.  

Put all ingredients in a blender. Puree until almost smooth. Pour into 2 glasses.
