Salary and Benefits

The PGY1 program is a full-time, fully-benefited employment position at Munson Medical Center.  Residents are paid a competitive salary and are allowed (once trained) to pick up additional weekend shifts for full pharmacist hourly wages. Two weeks paid time off for vacation, sick time, or personal needs are afforded to the resident.

As a Munson employee, the benefit package for the resident also includes heath care coverage, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. Residents also may contribute to the Transamerica® 403b retirement/investment account and take advantage of the Munson matching program available to all staff members. Registration, travel, and accommodations to ASHP Midyear and Great Lakes Pharmacy Residency Conference are covered in full as part of the resident’s salary and benefits package.
