A Peer Recovery Coach is a trusted guide who offers support for people living with a substance use disorder. These specially trained coaches use their personal experiences with addiction to:

  • help others begin and maintain their own recovery by sharing their own experiences with recovery
  • provide hope and encouragement
  • connect individuals to other types of resources, such as housing and other essentials.

The goal is to help people reach their full potential, including long-term recovery, overall health and wellbeing, and a fulfilling life.
