A Peer Recovery Coach is a trusted guide who offers support for people living with a substance use disorder. These specially trained coaches use their personal experiences with addiction to:
- help others begin and maintain their own recovery by sharing their own experiences with recovery
- provide hope and encouragement
- connect individuals to other types of resources, such as housing and other essentials.
