Oncology Pharmacy Specializes in Cancer Care

The Cowell Family Cancer Center Oncology Pharmacy serves patients receiving cancer treatment and is staffed with six clinical pharmacists, including four who are board certified in oncology pharmacy. Oncology pharmacists are available to provide information to physicians, staff, patients, and family members.

They work collaboratively with the medical team to ensure accurate, individualized patient dosing, safety checks, and adherence to treatment plans and schedules. Pharmacists also participate in tumor board discussions, cancer research, and serve as preceptors for pharmacy students and residents.
